We have armored all types of vehicles from Level II NIJ to Level IV NIJ for law enforcement agencies, corporate clients, and individuals worldwide.

Our professional engineering team designs all materials required for armoring your vehicle and pays special attention to small details to ensure the beauty of the finished product.  If it is requested, we can also add special options such as sirens, dual door locks, spotlights, etc. Once the vehicle is fully re-assembled it undergoes a strict quality control process. All vehicles are inspected by a trained team responsible for ensuring that the vehicle meets all armoring standards as well as performance and craftsmanship levels.

The armor shielding is classified in levels that are based on the type of threat and the type of weapons and ammunition that vehicle occupants must be protected from.  Globally, the armor shielding market is classified by two standards, the standard established by the United States Institute of Justice NIJ 0108.01 (NIJ – National Institute of Justice and the Standard CEN 1063 (EN 1063) that is used in conjunction with EN 1522 created by the European Committee of Standardization.  These standards create ballistic classifications that armored vehicles and structures can be classified and tested to.

In order to maintain constant quality control of the materials used in the armoring process, we perform random ballistic tests in our testing laboratory and also in certified international laboratories to verify the materials being used meets the specific ballistic standards.

Protec-Car has experience in armoring aircraft such as MI 17, MI8, Bell 212, Bell 412 and UH 60 helicopters. Our innovative designs and materials provide ballistic integrity without adding excessive weight. We will also install armor shielding on boats, ships, locomotives, and containers which we adapt to the needs of our customers.
