If you are tired of driving 30 minutes just to shoot your gun for practice and to maintain your marksmanship, having your own private indoor gun range may be the solution. An in-home firing range is convenient – no travel is required, and you can shoot when you want – not when the range is open. A properly designed and equipped range can also be an entertainment center for the home owner’s guests while promoting gun safety and education. The design, operation, and maintenance of an indoor home range does require consideration of a number of safety and health factors and that is how we can help.
For example, adequate volume and direction of air movement are necessary to avoid inhalation of health hazardous lead fumes and dust released during firing. Spent bullets must be safely contained and metal fragments must be controlled to avoid ricochets in the direction of the shooter. Acoustical controls must be installed to protect the shooters and occupants from hazardous noise levels created by discharging weapons.
